Amazing Powerful Whirlpool!

Video of Hayle estuary filling it's chamber with water, using a Nikon DSLR in a custom water housing. These whirlpools are formed on as the tide fills the harbour. These are NOT naturally occurring whirlpools and instead occur because large pipes under the water suck water into and thou them into the estuary.

I wanted to record the entirety of this video because I never knew what a whirlpool looked like under the surface. Which in allot of ways is the most interesting part

This video is meant for educational purposes as well as enterainment. So if your a teachers please feel free to use it in class. The video was filmed by myself and I own the full copyrights but if you drop me a message explaining how you would use the video for educational I would have no issue with that.

Is THIS the future of air travel? New windowless plane beams in panoramic views and allows passengers to surf the internet on full-length screens fitted to cabin walls

Windows would be replaced with ultra-thin and highly-flexible screens

Concept designed by Centre for Process Innovation in north-east England

It says the design could become reality in the next ten years

Fuselage would be lighter without windows and that could cut costs

A UK company is set to revolutionise the future of commercial air travel with a windowless plane that allows passengers to choose panoramic views of the world around them or swipe a touch screen to surf the internet or check their email from 35,000ft.

Windows would be replaced with ultra-thin and highly-flexible screens that would display outside scenery captured by cameras attached to the plane’s exterior or act as a personal touch screen computer.

The concept is the brainchild of the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) and is still in its design phase, but developers believe it could become the world’s first windowless commercial aircraft in the next ten years.

Passengers in the ‘window seat’ would be able to choose their view or use the full-length screens as an in-flight entertainment system, while those with middle or aisle seats would be able to access the futuristic system on a screen embedded in the head rest in front of them.

Views displayed on the high-definition screens would be capable of changing as the passenger moves his or her eyes.

In addition to providing entertainment, the screens fitted directly into the fuselage or into the wall panels, would provide subtle cabin lighting from gently glowing walls and could be switched on or off.

The system could help to offset jet lag as lighting panels would allow passengers to control colour changes associated with sunrise and sunset.

That would help them to adjust to time zone changes on long-haul journeys, according to CPI.

But the screens are not just for the enjoyment of passengers as they are designed to reduce aircraft weight and costs for both airlines and travellers

CPI said the fuselage would be lighter without windows and that would translate into fuel savings, fewer harmful emissions and lower operating costs for airlines.

Equipment for filming

The range of digital video equipment varies greatly.

Depending on your budget, you have different options available to you.
Entry level equipment, such as the JVC GR-D33 MiniDV Digital Camcorder is ideal for films on a low budget. The convenience of having your own camera also stops any potential restrictions you may have by renting one.

For those with a slightly larger budget, we reccomend the Sony HDR-HC1E or the Sony HDR-FX1 .

TOP TIPS
When buying a camera it is worthwhile getting additional extras;
Buying an extra battery is incredibly useful for outdoor filming, and having camera equipment such as tripods or monopods available to you help with the filming process.

Lighting:
For indoor filming, you are going to need lighting. Do not underestimate the importance of lighting. It can make all the difference to a shot being the best you’ve filmed, or ending up on the cutting room floor.

Cutting Room Floor:
Term applied to a piece of footage that does not appear in the final cut of the film. Scenes or shots are usually dropped because of time constraints, or an error in the filming process.
